I have had an epiphany. Today I decided that exercise is actually work. Surprising, I know haha. I have often felt tempted to give up midway through a work out, and then I push myself a bit harder, and try to do it a bit longer until, lo and behold- I am done! Then a funny thing happens, I feel a bit better, even if I didn't feel bad before. I just feel happier, more relaxed and accomplished. Yes! I did it even if I didn't want to when I first started. I am awesome. My endorphins are merrily skipping along spreading their stress-free vibes and good cheer. As an after work out treat (there is nothing wrong with patting yourself on the back) I made a smoothie. I added raspberries, blackberries, pineapple, banana, honey, all natural plain yogurt, and old fashioned oats.....scrumptious and rewarding.
